Chuck Person was a rock solid forward for the Indiana Pacers

Chuck Person was a rock solid forward for the Pacers. He played in 479 games (461 starts) in his six years with the Pacers and he averaged 35.4 minutes, 19.0 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game. His best season for the Pacers came in 1988-89, when he played in 80 games (79 starts) in which he averaged 37.7 minutes, 21.6 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.0 steal per game. Person is still #4 in three pointers made (466) and he is #10 in assists (1,743) in Pacers’ history.

Vern Fleming was a solid player in his time with the Indiana Pacers

Point guard Vern Fleming was a solid player in his time with the Pacers. He played in 816 games in his 11 years with the Pacers and he averaged 28.2 minutes, 11.7 points, 3.5 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 1.0 steal per game. He is #3 all-time in games played in Pacers’ history with 816 of them. He is also #7 in points (9,535), #2 in assists (4,038) and he is #3 in steals (835) in Pacers’ history. Fleming was never really a standout for the Pacers, but, he was a solid player overall.

Rik Smits made his mark with the Indiana Pacers

Center Rik Smits played his entire 12 years in the NBA with the Pacers. He played in 867 games (792 starts) in his 12 years with the Pacers and he averaged 26.6 minutes, 14.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.3 blocked shots per game. Smits is still currently #2 in Pacers’ history in games played with 867. He is also #3 in rebounds (5,277), #2 in blocked shots (1,111) and #2 in points scored (12,871) in Pacers’ history. While never the first option offensively, Smits was still a solid player for the Pacers.

Reggie Miller is still the best player in Indiana Pacers’ history

Shooting guard Reggie Miller has parlayed his success as a player into a announcing job in the NBA. He played in 1,389 games (1,307 starts) for the Indiana Pacers and he averaged 34.3 minutes, 18.2 points, 3.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.1 steals per game. Miller also shot 39.5% from three point range in his career which is pretty impressive. Miller is the all-time leader in Pacers’ history in games played (1,389), minutes played (47,619), points scored (25,279), three point shots made (2,560), assists (4,141) and steals (1,505). He also is ninth in team history with 4,182 rebounds. Miller was never shy about taking the big shot and he made more of them than he missed in his time with the Pacers.
