The Indianapolis Colts have waived 24-year old QB Stephen Morris.  Morris played in 4 preseason games for the Colts this year and he completed 39 of 61 passes (63.9%) for 531 yards with 4 TD passes and 1 INT (106.7 QB Rating).  He also carried the ball 8 times for 50 yards (6.3 ypc) with 1 TD run this preseason.  Morris lost his roster spot through no fault of his own, as he played well in the preseason for the Colts.  They just didn’t feel the need to carry 3 QBs on the active roster in 2016.

UPDATE:  The Colts have signed Stephen Morris to their practice squad.
