Something went on in the locker room at halftime with the game tied at 10 because the Colts came out of the locker room looking like a Mad Dog in a Meat Market! The Colts pounded the Saints 31-0 in the 2nd half of the game as it was complete domination on both sides of the football. QB Peyton Manning didn’t look sharp in the 1st half but he turned it on in the 2nd half of the game. He finished up completing 18 of 30 passes for 288 yards with 3 TD passes. Joseph Addai carried the load in the running game with 118 yards rushing on 23 carries (5.1 ypc) with 1 TD run. Backup RB Kenton Keith also got some work in and he looked good carrying the ball 5 times for 32 yards (6.4 ypc). Reggie Wayne made up for a costly fumble in the first half that was returned for a TD by CB Jason David (formerly of the Colts). He made up for it by torching David for two TD receptions in the 2nd half of the game. Wayne finished up with 7 catches for 115 yards (16.4 avg). WR Marvin Harrison was also outstanding as he caught 4 passes for 83 yards and a TD. The Colts finished up out-yarding the Saints 452-293 in this football game.

The defense was outstanding for the Colts. They even scored a TD when backup safety Matt Giordano returned an interception 83 yards to paydirt. The secondary was outstanding for the Colts as Marlin Jackson (12 tackles), Kelvin Hayden (9 tackles) and Bob Sanders (9 tackles) kept the Saints receivers in front of them and they made them pay when they caught the football. LBs Gary Brackett (9 tackles) and Rob Morris (8 tackles) both were outstanding as they stuffed Deuce McAllister and Reggie Bush in the running game.

This Colts team looked Super again last night so the rest of the NFL better give them their respect.
