Colts by the numbers

The Colts are starting to click on all cylinders on offense and are averaging 28.5 points per game. The Colts running game is starting to pick up as they now are averaging 111.2 yards rushing and 3.9 yards per carry. The Colts are throwing the ball well, as usual, putting up 261.8 net yards passing per game and completing 63.6% of their passes.

The defense has stunk for the Colts so far this season allowing 20.3 points per game. The Colts run defense has been downright pathetic, allowing 158.0 yards rushing per game and 5.2 yards per carry. The Colts pass defense also has been lousy, as teams complete 66.3% of their pass attempts for 167.3 net yards passing.

Some interesting numbers you’ve posted ravenhater. By the way, did you know our run defense went from 31st to 30th this week. By next week we should be the Steel Curtain. One of my biggest concerns, is Feeeny, 0 sacks after 7 weeks. I wonder if his injuries aren’t a litte more serious than what’s being reported. I hope it’s not the case.

You know Bob, I was just thinking about Dwight Freeney myself. If he’s playing hurt, maybe he should sit a while and get better, because, if he’s not getting any sacks, he’s not helping the defense. Maybe the Colts could put someone in that’s a little better against the run until Freeney feels better.

Good Point! We could especialy use a FRESH FREENEY, down the strech run. Maybe put Brock back out there for a time. By the way Dwight has a total of 4.5 stops this year. Not exactly getting the job done there. Although in his defence, it’s really not his assignment. Get healthy FREE!

4.5 tackles is pretty pathetic. Even though Freeney’s job is not to make alot of tackles….he a defensive player and they are paid to tackle people.
